Good March, to you dear reader. The daffodils are blowing their own trumpet, and a sea of yellow has emerged from the grassy verges. It’s the first of the month and so it’s time for a new post from ArtStudioCB.
I love this time of year. It heralds warmer months and the end of a long, stormy, cold, and dark winter.
This post update includes the Vagary Exhibition coming to Cynon Valley Museum 4th-26th April 2025, and the new ‘Picking Up the Pieces- Augmented Reality + Hope’ project.

‘Vagary’ is an exhibition of art-works including painting, collage, and mixed media. These art-works explore female identity, fertility, and transience. I created this series of works between April and October 2024. The art-works will be available for sale direct from the Cynon Valley Museum. This is the opportunity to purchase. Art-works that aren’t sold will be made available for sale after the exhibition for a short period. Any that haven’t sold will eventually be destroyed in October 2025. There will be a private view 1.40pm Friday 4th April, and you are invited!

‘Picking Up The Pieces- Augmented Reality + Hope,’ is a long term project in development that explores community trauma through augmented reality. I have previously studied a Python language course, and a course in Googles AR Core. I will be undertaking training to develop the project. It will be documented through my Patreon page before eventually being published. To receive first updates, behind the scenes content, and exclusive access, please sign up as a supporter here.
I am wishing you a wonderful March, and visit again 1st April to receive the next post.
