Greetings, dear reader! Happy July to you. I hope you were able to celebrate the summer solstice and enjoy the extra hours of sun light.
I have news! ArtStudioCB has moved to Aberdare Market! The stall/studio opened 24th June 2025. I sell my art and crafts, as well as facilitating creative workshops from the space.
It’s a welcome development in my art practice, as I desperately needed a studio space. After a spring craft fair event where I found great joy in speaking directly with customers, I decided to combine a studio with a shop/stall. Aberdare Market have offered a warm welcome, for which I’m grateful.
I’m also attending a Summer Arts Intensive here in Rhondda Cynon Taff. We will be looking at trauma informed practice over two weeks, and I can’t wait to meet my fellow artists. I will on the course from 7th-18th July and so the market stall will be closed 7th – 19th July. It will reopen on Tuesday 22nd July.
